Espria are, and always have been, mindful of the environmental impact of our industry.

We continue to implement strategies and procedures, to manifest positive change. We want to have a positive impact and collectively reduce our carbon footprint through reusing, reducing and recycling resources. We choose to work with partners who share our values in the supply and support of sustainable solutions. Please join us on this journey.

Environmental

Working with Ecologi, Espria has committed to offsetting the impact of our live events through tree planting and has established the ‘Espria Forest’. We also contribute a percentage of invoiced revenue to the planting of wildflower meadows and seagrass landscapes to support the natural environment and wildlife.

Social

We like to support local charities, clubs and employees. Here are a few examples of recent support:

As part of our commitment to the local community, Espria are now proud sponsors of Ware FC Under 7’s football team.

Located just 300 yards from the Espria Head Offices, Ware FC’s under 7’s train and play matches on the same pitches as the first team and are currently leading the league for their age group. Read more about our sponsorship here.

Charitable Donations

Espria has a proud history of regularly donating to a number of carefully chosen charities who we have worked with since 2010.

Since then, we have raised over £80k and continue in our fundraising efforts.

We donate to local projects near our offices, including supporting our local cricket club, funding a defibrillator for our village, and many other worthy causes. We also support many of our team members when they choose to raise money for charity.

Charity

Marie Curie

We have been donating to Marie Curie for many years and have a very close relationship. They provide care and support for more than 40,000 people living with a terminal illness and their families in the UK each year.

“Thank you so much for the donation. I can confirm that Marie Curie has received £6,000 from Espria. Which is a total of £25,000 over the last 5 years. Thank your for this and your continued support.”

Empowering our Clients

Sustainable Solutions

Below are 5 reasons why the Cloud is sustainable, allowing you to scale up or down quickly without being over-resourced.

  1. Reduces energy use
  2. Decreases GHGs (Greenhouse gases)
  3. Reduction of Technology waste
  4. Data centre efficiency
  5. Shift to renewal energy resources

By implementing analytical tools and reporting metrics, through our Sustainability Assessment, Espria are able to empower you to make better decisions, automate processes and thus providing more data driven sustainable solutions. Whether it’s a move from on-premises to cloud or from cloud-chaos to cloud-smart – we can improve your sustainability in a measurable and accountable way.

With a UK Government move to a wider focus on technology and its sustainability, similar to the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reports Directive (CSRD) we can help you to ensure compliance with any future legislation, avoiding the pitfalls, like those seen with GDPR.

Through digital transformation, we support our clients in reducing their environmental impact through a lowered consumption of raw materials and resources, often reducing costs in the process.

Remote Service & Support

Moving to a cloud-based system not only reduces the need for on-premises infrastructure but also allows us to support you remotely. Any maintenance or system development can then be conducted remotely, reducing the need to travel and the carbon emissions this creates.
