Mode supports ABF The Soldiers’ Charity

ABF The Soldiers’ charity exists to support serving soldiers, veterans and their families. They take pride in being responsive, making a difference in people’s lives, providing grants, funding and practical support. Mode recently heard about Russell from Hertfordshire, an RSM in the Army who is taking part on 11-12 June 2016 in the Alliance Trust Cateran Yomp to raise much needed funds for ABF. Mode felt compleled to donate to this cause as Russell has served his country for over 20 years, with 3 tours of Afghanistan as well as raising funds! Russell is doing the epic ‘Yomp’ trek across rural Perthshire and he knows better than most how tough it will be, but also knows the vital funds raised read more...

Mode Supports Local Football Team Chars Youth FC

Mode likes to support our local community in any way so when we saw an opportunity to help a local youth team, we were happy to help. Chars Youth FC were established in 2012 after their current manager Joe Westmacot identified a lack of youth football in the Cheshunt area. Over the last few years the club has grown and now has an under 7’s, under 9’s and under 10’s teams. They are affiliated to the Cheshunt Friendly League and are always looking for support from the local community. We were delighted to be able to supply them with 4 new goals for their home ground. We look forward to watching the club and teams develop over the coming seasons. read more...

Mode Donates to Charities at Anniversary Bash

As part of our corporate and social responsibility, we think it’s important to support both local and national charities to give back to the community and world at large. That’s why we regularly donate to charities such as Together for Short lives, The Blue Cross, and Marie Curie. It’s a pleasure working with these charities and we really enjoy building long-term relationships with the charities that we support to really make a difference. Together for Short Lives Since 2011, we’ve donated £6,155 to this charity to help families care for seriously ill children. Mode Supports Womankind’s Comedy Gala

As part of our social responsibility and commitment to give back to the community, Mode regularly supports local events and charities. In October, we sponsored Womankind’s company gala called Funny Women. The event at St James’ Theatre in London was completely sold out. The audience were moved and inspired when they saw how their support transforms the lives of women and girls around the world. Harriet Minter from the Guardian’s Women in Leadership initiative introducted the event before giving the stage to The Funny Women Players – an all-female improvisational comedy team. Womankind raised hundreds of pounds from raffle tickets and other fundraising at the event, and we look forward to seeing what a difference this money makes to the read more...
